INTRODUCTION

The following liquid chromatographic procedures are provided for the determination of vitamin E as an active pharmaceutical ingredient, as a dietary supplement ingredient, or as a component in compendial dosage forms in the forms of alpha tocopherol (C₂₉H₅₀O₂), alpha tocopheryl acetate (C₃₁H₅₂O₃), or alpha tocopheryl acid succinate (C₃₃H₅₄O₅).
