  〈511〉 Single-Steroid Assay. This proposal is based on the version of the general chapter official prior to 2013. It is proposed to omit this general chapter for the following reasons:

1. This chapter describes an outdated methodology and reference to  Assay for Steroids 〈351〉, which is being proposed for omission in this issue of PF. Future monographs should adopt modern methods.

2. No monographs reference Single-Steroid Assay 〈511〉.
