BRIEFING

  〈351〉 Assay for Steroids. This proposal is based on the version of the general chapter official prior to 2013. It is proposed to omit this general chapter for the following reasons:

  1. The general chapter describes a nonspecific UV-vis assay for steroids that is no longer aligned with current analytical methodologies. Future monographs should adopt modern methods.

  2. No monographs reference Assay for Steroids 〈351〉.
