Bismuth Subsalicylate Magma
DEFINITION
Bismuth Subsalicylate Magma is a suspension of Bismuth Subsalicylate in water that contains NLT 90.0% and NMT 110.0% of the labeled amount of bismuth subsalicylate (C7H5BiO4). Bismuth subsalicylate is a basic salt that when dried at 105° for 3 h contains NLT 56.0% and NMT 59.4% bismuth (Bi) and NLT 36.5% and NMT 39.3% of total salicylates.
