BRIEFING

 Broccoli Seed Dry Extract. This proposal is based on the version of the monograph official as of December 1, 2024. On the basis of comments received, the following revisions are being proposed:

1. Eliminate the use of Standard solution C in Identification A.

2. A new table format has been introduced in Identification A to describe the System suitability and Acceptance criteria. USP welcomes feedback from stakeholders about the proposal of this new format.

3. Eliminate the use of USP Broccoli Seed Dry Extract RS (Standard solution B) in Identification B and the Content of Glucoraphanin test.

4. Add Table 2 to include the approximate relative retention times of the different analytes.

 Additionally, minor editorial changes have been made to update the monograph to current USP style.
