BRIEFING

 Norflurane. This proposal is based on the version of the monograph official as of December 1, 2023.

 In accordance with the Rules and Procedures of the Council of Experts, this is to provide notice that the General Chapters–Dosage Forms Expert Committee intends to omit the monograph for Norflurane.

 Consistent with comments received from FDA, the committee considered it is appropriate to omit the monograph for this article.

 It is anticipated that the proposed omission will be published as an Interim Revision Announcement in PF 50(6) [Nov.–Dec. 2024] with a comment period of ninety days. In the absence of significant adverse comments, the omission will become official on May 1, 2025.
