DEFINITION

Technetium Tc 99m Succimer Injection is a sterile, clear, colorless, aqueous solution of succimer complexed with radioactive technetium (^99mTc). It is suitable for intravenous administration. It contains NLT 85.0% of the labeled amount of ^99mTc as the succimer complex expressed in megabecquerels (microcuries or millicures) per milliliter at the time indicated in the labeling. Other chemical forms of radioactivity are NMT 15.0% of the total radioactivity. It may contain reducing agents.
