DEFINITION

Banaba Leaf Powder consists of the dried leaves of Lagerstroemia speciosa (L.) Pers. (Fam. Lythraceae) reduced to powder or very fine powder. It contains NLT 0.2% of the labeled amount of corosolic acid (C30H48O4), calculated on the dried basis.
