Purified Stearic Acid is a mixture consisting of stearic (octadecanoic) acid (C18H36O2) and palmitic (hexadecanoic) acid (C16H32O2) obtained from fats or oils of vegetable or animal origin, which together constitute NLT 96.0% of the total content. The content of stearic acid (C18H36O2) is NLT 90.0% of the total.
