BRIEFING

 Papain. This proposal is based on the version of the monograph official prior to 2013. On the basis of comments received, revisions are being proposed to the equation for the calculation of enzyme activity in the Assay to add the weight of Papain in the Sample solution.

 Additionally, minor editorial changes have been made to update the monograph to current USP style.
