DEFINITION

Metoprolol Tartrate Injection is a sterile solution of Metoprolol Tartrate in Water for Injection. It contains Sodium Chloride as a tonicity-adjusting agent. It contains NLT 90.0% and NMT 110.0% of the labeled amount of metoprolol tartrate [(C₁₅H₂₅NO₃)₂·C₄H₆O₆].
