BRIEFING

 Menthol. This proposal is based on the version of the monograph official as of December 1, 2022. On the basis of comments received, it is proposed to add the specification of a Tailing factor of 0.5–1.0 to the Suitability requirements in the Assay.

 Additionally, minor editorial changes have been made to update the monograph to current USP style.
