Anhydrous Lactose

DEFINITION

Anhydrous Lactose is O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-d-glucopyranose (β-lactose), or a mixture of O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-d-glucopyranose and O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1→4)-α-d-glucopyranose (α-lactose).
