Japanese Sophora Fruit Dry Extract. Because there is no existing USP monograph for this dietary ingredient, a new monograph is being proposed. The liquid chromatographic procedure in the test for Content of Flavonoid Glycosides was conducted using the YMC J'sphere ODS-H80 C18 brand of column with 4.0-µm L1 packing. The typical retention time for kaempferol-3-O-sophoroside, sophorabioside, and sophoricoside are 7.6, 10.9, and 11.2 min, respectively.
