DEFINITION

Black Cumin Seed is the oil obtained from the seeds of Nigella sativa L. (Fam. Ranunculaceae) by cold press processing. It contains NLT 1.0% and NMT 2.9% of thymoquinone, and NLT 0.55% of 4-cymene. It may contain added substances as stabilizers.
