BRIEFING

Rice Protein. A new USP monograph for this dietary ingredient is being proposed.

  1. The LC-MS procedure used in Identification A for peptide mapping is based on the analyses performed with a Phenomenex Synergi Hydro-RP brand of column with L1 packing.

  2. The HPLC procedure used in Identification B for the amino acid profile is based on the analyses performed with a Waters Acquity UPLC BEH brand of column with L1 packing. The typical retention times for amino acids are listed in Table 6.
