DEFINITION
Cranberry Fruit Dry Juice is prepared by drying Cranberry Fruit Juice Concentrate onto suitable carriers and anti-caking agents. It contains NMT 50% suitable carriers and anti-caking agents. It contains NLT 80% and NMT 120% of the labeled amount of total proanthocyanidins, calculated as procyanidin A2 (C30H24O12) on the dried basis. It also contains NLT 12% of total organic acids, and NLT 90% and NMT 110% of the labeled amount of total organic acids, both as the sum of quinic acid, malic acid, and citric acid, on the dried basis. The ratio of quinic acid to malic acid is NLT 1, and the ratio of quinic acid to citric acid is NLT 0.5.
