Ajowan Fruit Oil
DEFINITION
Ajowan Fruit Oil is prepared from the dried fruit of Trachyspermum ammi (L.) Sprague (Fam. Apiaceae), harvested in spring, by distillation. It contains NLT 30.0% of thymol (C10H14O) and NLT 10.0% of 4-cymene (C10H14), and it contains NLT 90.0% and NMT 110.0% of the labeled amount of thymol and 4-cymene.
