DEFINITION

Indian Elecampane Root Dry Extract is prepared from the dried root of Inula racemosa Hook.f. (Fam. Asteraceae) by extraction with hydroalcoholic mixtures. It contains NLT 90.0% and NMT 110.0% of the labeled amount of sesquiterpenes, calculated as the sum of alantolactone and isoalantolactone on the dried basis.
