DEFINITION

Indian Elecampane Root Powder consists of the dried root of Inula racemosa Hook.f. (Fam. Asteraceae), reduced to powder or very fine powder. It contains NLT 1.0% of sesquiterpenes, calculated as the sum of alantolactone and isoalantolactone on the dried basis.
