DEFINITION

Butylated Hydroxyanisole is predominantly 3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyanisole, with varying amounts of 2-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyanisole. It contains NLT 98.5% of butylated hydroxyanisole (C₁₁H₁₆O₂) as a sum of the two isomers.
