BRIEFING

 Sichuan Pepper Oil. The First Supplement to FCC 14. On the basis of information and data received, the following revisions are being proposed for Identification D:

1. Replace the chromatogram of the isomers in Figure 1 with one that better represents the resolution.

2. Add a System suitability solution and System suitability requirements.

3. Revise the Acceptance criteria for three isomers of sanshool based on the source analysis data.

 Additionally, minor editorial changes have been made to update the monograph to current USP style.

 This proposal is targeted for publication in the FCC 15.
