BRIEFING

 Benzaldehyde Propylene Glycol Acetal, FCC 14. On the basis of comments received, the following revisions are proposed:

  1. Remove USP Benzaldehyde Propylene Glycol Acetal RS from Identification A and the Assay.

  2. Replace the existing test for Infrared Absorption with a test for Infrared Spectra in Identification A. The new test requires comparison to a published spectrum, included in this revision.

 Additionally, minor editorial changes have been made to update the monograph to current USP style.

 This proposal is targeted for publication in FCC 15.
