DESCRIPTION

Sodium Silicate occurs as an odorless, white, free-flowing, powder material. It is a hydrous silicate having a 2:1 molar ratio of silicon dioxide (SiO2) to sodium oxide (Na2O). At 30°, the Sodium Silicate is readily soluble in water. The pH value of a 1% solution of Sodium Silicate is approximately 11.8.
