BRIEFING

 Azorubine, FCC 14. On the basis of comments received, it is being proposed to make the following changes to this monograph:

  1. Remove the USP Azorubine RS from the Uncombined Intermediates and Products of Side Reactions and Subsidiary Coloring Matters tests.

  2. Replace the chemical structure of Azorubine to the correct version.

 Additionally, minor editorial changes have been made to update the monograph to current USP style.

 The proposal is targeted for publication in FCC 15.
