BRIEFING

 High Oleic Soybean Oil (Unhydrogenated). FCC 15. On the basis of data and information received, the following revisions are proposed:

1. In the Identification:

   • Update the Acceptance criteria for Fatty Acid Composition.

   • Update the reference test method and the Acceptance criteria for Tocopherols.

   • Add Sterol Profile.

2. Add Saponification Value, Refractive Index, and Relative Density to the Specific Tests section.

 Additionally, minor editorial changes have been made to update the monograph to current USP style.

 All comments are encouraged; however, comments are specifically requested on the test for Tocopherols and Tocotrienols.

 This proposal is targeted for publication in the Second Supplement to FCC 15.
