Seaweed-Derived Calcium
DESCRIPTION
Seaweed-Derived Calcium occurs as an inert, non-hygroscopic, white powder composed of approximately 85.0% calcium carbonate and 11.5% magnesium carbonate. It is obtained from mineralized seaweed (Lithothamnion sp.) found on the seabed in mineral-rich waters. It is soluble in weak acids, but almost insoluble in water.
