DESCRIPTION
Pyridoxine Hydrochloride occurs as colorless or white crystals or as a white, crystalline powder. It is stable in air, but is slowly affected by sunlight. Its solutions are acid to litmus, having a pH of about 3. 1 g dissolves in 5 mL of water and in about 100 mL of alcohol. It is insoluble in ether. It melts at about 206° with some decomposition.
