DESCRIPTION

Poloxamer 407 occurs as a white solid. It is a block copolymer condensate of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide with a melting range of about 52° to 56°. It is freely soluble in alcohol and in water, but is insoluble in propylene glycol and in ethylene glycol.
