Fast Green. FCC 15. Based on comments and information received, the following revisions are proposed to align Fast Green with the JECFA monograph for Fast Green FCF prepared at the 84th meeting of the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA Monograph 20; 2017):

In the Assay, remove the requirement for Method II from the test for Total Color.

A test for Mercury has been added to Inorganic Impurities in alignment with 21 CFR 74.1203.
Additionally, minor editorial changes have been made to update the monograph to current USP style.
This proposal is targeted for publication in the Second Supplement to FCC 15.
