DESCRIPTION

Desoxycholic Acid occurs as a white, crystalline powder. It is practically insoluble in water, slightly soluble in chloroform and in ether, soluble in acetone and in solutions of alkali hydroxides and carbonates, and freely soluble in alcohol.
