DESCRIPTION

Cellulose Gum occurs as a white to off-white colored powder or as granules. The powder is hygroscopic. It readily disperses in water to form colloidal solutions. It is insoluble in most solvents. A 1:100 aqueous suspension has a pH of 6.5–8.5.
